A Note About Responsible Reading
In a library that serves students ranging in ages from eleven to fourteen, a wide variety of materials is needed. What is interesting and appropriate for eighth graders may not be interesting or appropriate for sixth graders and vice versa. If you check out a book that makes you or your parents uncomfortable, please return it and choose another book. Always feel free to contact us if you have questions or comments. |
Curbside Library Checkout
Montevideo library is offering curbside book checkout for those students who are learning virtually. We hope students will take advantage of this service and checkout books from our collection.

Book Return
I realize many students have books that you were unable to return in the Spring. We have checked in all of the books found in lockers during the locker clean out. If you still have library books, you may continue to return them at any time. There is a bin on the front porch of the building by the main office door. Rising 9th graders that still have books from MMS may return them to SHS. MMS 6th graders may return books from Peak View Elementary here as well and I will return them for you. Please reach out with any questions. aruebke@rockingham.k12.va.us
